Guess Wease&Co.are too busy having fun to update the blog. In Tx we are having hit/miss rain so have some free time. Supposed to have rain on/off for next 9 days. I am not complaining. We will need the water in Sept. When is Wease going to start posting his golf scores and NCC bill ranking?

The 'Weasey Watch' (WW) reports are getting less frequent. He is almost as elusive as the Sasquatch. I think he must have something of the rest of you :-)
It is not 8am yet and the heat is really bad, Air Cond cycled all night. The water level at Lake Tawakoni is great and we should have a great water sports 4th. Visit to Iowas was great as always, what a great place!

Ladies night was fun, but I have to say not quite as fun as the Thursday before. I played pretty good golf last night. I talked to Weasey towards the end of the night. We missed you, Tom. A lot of the regulars were not out last night. Burt, we hope you thought of us last night while we were having a good time. We played best shot with five girls. We only play 4 holes though. A new member came out last night and I think she had a good time. I wanted you all to know that John attempted to qualify for the John Deere Classis today. It's the one where he won the qualifyer last year. Anyway, he shot 79 and did not make it. See you all later, Perky

I have returned to Texas from Iowa and once again raised the IQ of both states. Understand Wease put on his "BadBoy" suit at the NCC last night. Wish I could have been there to record it. Wonder what 'interesting' plans Wease has for Vacation III.

Hello all four of you players. Posted a blog yesterday and for some reason it didn't make it. Surely it isn't my skill level! Didn't make it to the club last night, needed to stick around home. Missed seeing the Wease and Perky as I didn't make it on Wednesday either. Looking forward to the forth as it is the best day of the year at good old NCC. I know Steph has to work and it is a long day but it is oh so much fun. Surely the Wease will be playing in the tournament. Haven't seen him for a week or so and I think I'm having withdrawals. I don't do tournaments so I'll have to make do with laying around the pool all day and enjoying a few beverages, as Steph would say, and enjoying my kids and grandkids again. It really couldn't get any better than this. Life's great, aint it! Top that off with another couple of beverages in the evening and then fireworks. Wow! I'll need a couple of days off just to recover. No such luck. Heading to Chicago the next day for the weekend with three of our grandsons. We do this every summer and all of us enjoy the big city a lot. Kind of a summer ritual. The boys think it is great to be in Michael Jordon, Sammy Sousa's and Nike's town and granma and I dig the great resurants and seeing pretty people. Not that there aren't a lot at NCC. Well, tonight is Ladies night. I'm looking forward to a fun filled evening with all my friends. This week and last has been busy. Burt was in town visiting family, as Weasey said and hopefully, he had fun. We are all instant messaging now. That has been a fun experience, so far. Burt, thank you very much, has installed some software for me. Again, Men's night got rained out. And yes, I was stuck in the rain. I'm sure, Perky showed itself. I ended up closing by myself last night. Hopefully, Perky did a good job. Here I go, talking in third person. Last week Ladies night was a blast. It was difficult for me to make sure I gave adequate attention to all my buddies. I think I did ok. As everyone has mentioned, we have changed our name. I still think we should change it periodically. I don't have any suggestions, at this point. We are happy to say that Tom T. has entered into our happy family. Brian, poor guy, will not be on-line for a while. He is taking ANOTHER vacation. Just kidding, Brian. It will be nice having you around even though my week is going to suck. Monday, I get my hair done. I'm not real happy about you all looking for a tee time somewhere. Just once, I'd like to play golf with John, or go along. Tuesday, I work and go to I Cubs that night. That will be fun. However, Wed. I work. Thursday, 4th of July I work, but will be fun at night. And, Friday I work. I'll be like a normal person, I guess. It's just that I have those fun things that week, too, and I'll probably have to be somewhat good. My sister and her husband and child may come to visit on Sunday. Hey, Hey! I guess I am now officially part of a Blog. I know I have arrived now! The wease was in good form on Thursday and it was good to see Burt at NCC. I heard someone was taking pictures but didn't see any myself. Had a great time at the pool on Friday night with all my kids and grandkids and had a chance to say "Hey" to Steph and Weasey. Weasey was obstaining for some unknown reason. I also heard he had been on good behavior for his mom and siblings sake recently but surely they know him. ok, thought I better add a little something. I feel like my perkiness is quite the topic of discussion. Wow. As long as it's a good thing. Sorry, Burt, I hate to have you miss out. It is getting close to the end of Burt's vacation. I hope he has enjoyed himself in Newton. As you have probably observed, Thursday nights are quite the night at NCC. Hey, Hey, I'm back in town. Went to the Michigan 400 NASCAR race last week end. Had a couple of beers, then a couple more. A good time was had by myself and a couple of brother in laws as well. Back to NCC on Wednesday night and will be there Thursday night and Friday night. Gotta make up for my absenteeism. Wednesday golf was my usually mediocre self but Steph was looking especially perky in what I think might have been one of here new blouses. Looking forward to seeing all of you on Thursday night. Well, I thought I posted the blog, but I hit a button, and lost what I wrote. Anyway, if it comes up twice, that's why. Again, today was kind of a long day. I got off work about 11. It seemed longer than normal b/c of the wind. Also, it's difficult for me to slow down until I'm actually close to getting off work. I feed off all social stuff around me. Everyone wanted to see the tattoo on my hip versus the one I just got redone on my ankle. Weasey, you'll be happy to know that Tom T. will be out at ladies night. I think he said he was playing golf first, but I can't remember exactly what time. I'm excited about the gift we are receiving from Burt. Not sure what the whole "add some water and have a contest between Weasey and myself". Burt, what the hell is that? Made some pretty good tips today. Weasey, you'll have to ask some of the guys if they liked my new shirt??? Later.

I have arrived in Newton and are preparing for the ThurEvening Business meeting. I will give Weasey and Steph gifts a little later in the evening. We will want to add some water and have a contest between Weasey and Steph.

Weasey is starting to get on me about adding to the blog, so, Perky is here. Today is another day of bar cart. It's cloudy and very windy. I don't think there will be rain. I got some new clothes yesterday, so I'll be wearing one of my new shirts. White, as always, one of my favorite colors. We hope Tom T. comes out today. He's been missing action for a while. A rather rainy day in Davenport. Steph is getting ready for mens stag in Newton. She bought a new white top to wear today, and it may get wet! Perkyness always makes for a very good tip day. We went to Keosaqua Airport Flyin this morning and now on the way to Bonaparte Garden and Craft show. Weather is great here. This is a great place. Lots of deer and turkey in the park.

Well, men's stag got pretty crazy. Tom T. did not make it out. I did pretty good in tips last night. It probably didn't hurt that I was wearing a sleeveless button down blouse that got wet b/c I was in the rain. It got really busy really fast. Weasey probably would have had a good time if he would have been there. I had a good day yesterday. Wondering what's going on with the camp gurue. Excuse the spelling. Hope everything is ok. Weasey has already played at least nine holes today on ladies day. Hopefully, Weasey and myself will get some time to chat tonight. Maybe we can figure out a time where Weasey, Burt and myself could have a couple cocktails. We'll have to see. I would still like to get a picture of the three of us. Weasey, I think we're going to have to change the subject now that you are not having another vacation for a while. It can still focus on you b/c you are the core, but what should we call it now? Yes, I have a full day of men's stag. I'm pretty sure Tom T. will be out to play golf or, at least to eat. I didn't realize Weasey's sister was going to be here. I'd love to go to one of those parties for the alumni, but John never goes to his class reunion. Mine, on the other hand, is tons of fun. When you have a class of 45, you always have to celebrate. I also had a "WHIZZER" motorbike but graduated to a cooler means of transportation when I turned 16. It pretty hard to be cool riding a bicycle that looked like someone had cobbed a motor onto it in their basement. Now that the Wease finally outgrew his Whizzer he has become a one of the NCC whizzers. The trees on the NCC course don't die of old age they drown. The "All Class" gathering last Friday night was a blast except it was hotter then hell in the Newton Inn around the pool. This was my wife's reunion year and she had a good time as did I. The cool part was my kids and their friends attended and I got to hang with them. Tipped a few and and had some laughs. I'm still a little dissapointed that the Wease bailed on me for the "All Class" evening. Maybe he thought you had to have some "class" to attend. Believe me Wease that was not the case. Looking forward to seeing Burt, Weasey and that "perky" Steph on the 20th. Might even get chance to meet Burt's wife. Later :]

Hey Hey, Finally I get to see my name up in lights ... or at least in Weaseys's vacation journal. Alright Steph, I guess it wasn't Joel and I you were talking about when you said the old men that Weasey elected not to eat with. You are forgiven and all is right again. I'm anxious to hear how the stitch removal went.

Speaking of Weasey, where the h---- was he last night. Thursday night and all the babes and no Weasey ... what's going on. Just wasn't the same at the old NCC. Maybe they kept him in Ames. They probably need some mature entertainment up there, what with all those adolescence student types running around.

I think I'll be seeing the Wease soon, as my dear wife and I are going to join the Wease for a little reunion fun this evening. I'll get to hear about his latest adventures.

NEWS FLASH! The Wease has declined our evening of reunification under the guise of moving preparations. His daughter moves tomorrow and he thinks it wise to be firing on all cylinders. Both the wife and I are further dissapointed that yet another day goes by with out a Wease sighting.

Tom Tripp, another friend of Weasey and Steph's was a little concerned that I was making comments that Weasey had to sit with old people. I went and researched my past comments. What I was referring to, was that on a Thursday night, member dining was in the bar. All the girls and usual Thursday men golfers were still on the course and the older generation of members that eat about 5:30 or 6:00, were in the bar and Weasey felt uncomfortable. So, Tom, I was not referring to you and the rest of your cohorts. I knew it couldn't have been you but I had to prove it to you. It was another men's night tonight. Weasey was the last one there besides the poker guys. I worked late. I was going to sit and talk with Weasey, but I ended up getting off sooner than I thought. I came upstairs and ate and had a drink. It was time for Weasey to go anyway, b/c he has a big meeting in Ames. I get my stitches out tomorrow. I'll making a posting if I'm happy with the results. Everyone has been very concerned and conscientious. Thanks to all.

It has come to my attention that I've been ignoring the blog. As I told Weasey, yesterday was busy b/c of a golf outing. Then had to go straight to the hospital b/c my sister-in-law had an emergency appendectomy. I've been at that hospital entirely too much in the last two weeks. Today is men's day and I will see Weasey at some point in time. It looks like it will be a nice day, so will be spending the majority of the day and early evening on the bar cart. Not sure if Weasey is going to play golf. Where is Burt? I know he mentioned it may be a while before he is able to add to the blog. Hopefully, his vacation is a lot of fun. See you all later.

WEASEY IS A LITTLE LONELY, BUT PROBABLY SERVES HIM RIGHT, FOR NOT POSTING MORE FREQUENT BLOGS OR E-MAIL WHEN HE WAS ON VACATION. VERY HEAVY RAIN THIS MORNING IN DAVENPORT, WITH SOME FLOODING. I ALMOST STALLED THE CAR....TILL I HEAR FROM SOMEONE....I AM......THE WEASE.

weasey is back on the road in davenport, resting up from all of his vacation. have to spend all day this coming thurs. in the office in ames. haven't made an appearance there for about 7 months, so i am sure there will be a few things to go over. will get a new cell phone, get my annual state auto inspection, and a couple of computer upgrades. this coming weekend i will be moving my daughter to a townhouse apartment in newton, so she can start getting her life organized. i hate moving, and i have had to move her about four times in the last two years. she had better stay put for awhile! had a good time at the club hog roast with steph and lots of others. weasey was among the first to arrive, and among the last to leave.(imagine that). have had lots of compliments on my plantings/beautification project near the 6th tee box. looks like i will have about two weeks more over here before going up to algona for a couple of months,(can hardly wait). no internet access for me there!....till later...weasey.
