Hey, Hey! Sorry about the lack of blogging. With my move and the departure of a couple of my employees here at Pyramid I have been busy, busy. In a few short months I will be changing my work time to about 2/3rds of what I have been doing and time will not be as big an issue as it is now. I am looking forward seeing all of you this coming Spring and to get back on that golf course. Perhaps it is to early to pronounce the blogs death. It was great fun and a good way for me to keep in touch, even when I didn't get to see you all. I hope we can perhaps revive it come springtime. Till then I remain T rip.

We had a very nice warm Thanksgiving here in Tx., but as I am writing this it is in the 30's..burrrr. I thought we moved away from the cool stuff...Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I have been spending a lot of time giving Marilyn head fakes...so she can't figger out what I am doing (but mostly not doing). Wease and Steph seem to be avoiding contact with each other in Newton for some strange reason. I don't know how Wease is going to get his Microwave back. Wease is reluctant to commit to a "Sports Bar" redecorating them for the condo...it would be great, I think...or don't think.

Hey, you all! Well, I see we've all survived thanksgiving. Sorry for my lack of attention. As you all know, Weasey is always on my ass about the blog. It's harder for me now that I can't spend much time at the Club. Oh well, that's my problem. Tom T. thank you so much for the compliment. John and I have loved it there. I always appreciate the physical compliments. We went to John's family's on Thursday and my sister's on Friday for Thanksgiving. Wow! Lots of food. Tom, I'm so glad we went to see "Fat Bob". It was good as always. Your son is very talented. It was a good time. We left about midnight. I do miss hanging out there on Thursday nights and miss you all on Wednesdays. It seems a lot different there, when you don't spend the time. I hope this winter is like last year's since i was here most of the time. I understand the moving situation, Tom, as I've done it myself many times on a smaller scale. It sucks! I'm glad you're getting settled though. Brian, it sounds like things are good with you. I'm glad we're back to instant messaging. What happened with the driving stuff????? Burt, as always, I wonder where you come up with some of the shit you say, but I consider the source. Well, I don't have a lot to say. I hope to see you on Wednesday, Tom. I"m sure perky will be there perkier than ever. I got a great compliment from Brian last Wednesday. See you all later. Perky

Hey, Hey! Once again, I'm on the apologizing end of things. I have found that while driving fifty minutes each way to work daily is not a problem, cause I love sunrises and sunsets, taking 100 minutes out of your day does leave you pretty worn at days end. Haven't had time to get on my compuetr at home at all since the move. Things are getting back to more normal as we continue to complete unpacking and picture hanging and just plain settling in. We love the new digs and look forward to time to enjoys this new season in our lives. Heard from Larry R. that our birthday party next year is gonna be a blast. While I was unable to attend the planning session, I intend to be a part of this really special event. After all, you just don't turn sixty every day! One of the things I miss due to living out of town is seeing my favorite people and that means you all. Forgive me if I geta little gushy but ... I have been blessed in my life with many wonderful friends and aquaintances that give me the chance to laugh and be laughed with. I include you all in that group and miss the times together. I have known the Wease for fourty-five years and have truely enjoyed the opportunities to reaquaint with an old high school chum. More than my share of yuks have been had since we hooked up again. Unpretentious and honest. I like that! Perky has been great to get to know better. You and Johnny have been a big part in revitalizing an old doudy club and I am thankful. It's great to see that smiling face with blond hair a blowin, blazing down the rough on Wednesday nights. Knowing a cool one is on the way that'l be served up by the perkiest gal in town is really "a good thing". And it's been nice to get to know Burt a better. He too was an old school mate that went his way as I went mine and looking into your life, as we reap well deserved rewards for hanging in there, has been a real pleasure. For these gifts and countless others, I am thankful!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, all of you. Later, T rip

looks like burt has gotten some info on the garage episode. it was pretty bizzare, but don't know exactly what brought on the outburst. must be a lot of stress going around lately. anyway, wease is always willing to let someone vent and get things off their chest. lori thought it was pretty strange also, and i won't be getting a letter. probably the best thing would be for folks to keep their "issues" to theirselves, and not expect others to choose sides, in personal matters. had a great weekend with sister, mom, daughter, and grandson, and enjoyed the performance of the hawks. can't say the same for the "clones", who pretty much stepped on their dicks, sat. night, unfortunately. good to see a post from t rip. i know they have been extermely busy, and am glad he found time to post. sorry i will miss him again this wed. night, hopefully,....soon. i have never seen a "real" bull moose, but bet they do smell bad, and are hung a lot better than the wease!

Well Sports Fans....here it is 10am Monday morning and the Wease is still AWOL. He was supposed to be in Gilman but did a no-show. Any and all reports/sightings are welcomed. :-)

Things really got interesting the last few days. The Wease, Steph, and yours truly were doing instant messaging Wednesday and having a quite lively discussion. I told the Wease there was a stong posibility he was going to be grossed out, to which he replied "no way". Well folks about 15 minutes later...The Wease (aka Bullmoose or maybe Rabbit) made a very hasty exit for higher and safer ground. Thursday morning found the Wease absent from messaging and with a number of unanswered emails. Guess when things got interesting Wease must have ran up a tree and figure he is still in hiding there (using the safety of the forest).
Well, the Wease (or Rabbit) came down from the tree Thursday night and ran for the cover of Lori's garage. While at Lori's garage last night it is my understanding that that he completed the latest chapter of "The Weases New Guide on How to Make Friends and Influence People". I am sure Wease will fill us in on the complete details of his newest chapter. I can't wait.
At long last "The Bad Boy" is back, but has wisely (or unwisely) moved his show from the NCC Bar to the garage. Wonder if Lori' and Gary will send him a letter for his latest performance? :-)

Hey, Hey! I'm not really back, just kinda passing through! Sorry I have been AWOL so lomg from you blogger folks but my plate has been full to overflowing. Moving lag is still very much a reality. I thought moving all this junk was bad ... finding a place to stuff the stuff is even worse. At least we have it all at our new place and have gotten past all of the closing deadlines. The pressure is now off and I haven't accomplished much since. Once we get things in place I think some relaxing time will be on the schedule. My drive each day is 50 minutes one way. I really don't mind the drive. It gives you a little mellow time before work and some winding down time after. The problem is I find when I leave work and it's getting dark I really want to be home and have not had enough remaining energy to hang around Newton. So I haven't seen you all for so long. The last several weeks have been huge at work which doesn't help the enerhy level either. Will have a lot of that out of the way after this week and plan on being at the club this coming Wednesday. Look forward to seeing some of you folks then. Hey Steph, I think it is pretty neat that you and John will have your own place. It will probably be a little quieter in the Club dinning room after you move, and for that we thank you. Less bumping and pounding I imagine. I aught to watch my insinuations. For a moment I forgot that the ol Wease will be reading this and at his age blood pressure can be the silent killer. It is really hard to feel sorry for Burt aint it. Sliding around in an Airstream even in the rain is better than dealingwith the cold, gray, miserable, slushy, windy crap that we have been having. Today, however, is going to be near 60 and sunny with tomorrow, a carbon copy. Life is really pretty good ... but an Airstream would make it better. I have missed that perky little thing and need a shot of the Bull Moose's warped sence of humor. Lookin forward to Wednesday night. By the way, I went to a New Cabela's in KC and saw a real Bull Moose. What a stud! Reminds of an old Joke Wease. A flasher opened his coat to show his wares to a passing lady and said whatdoya think of that, honey. She said "Looks just like a penis, only a lot smaller". Same could be said about the Bull Moose and a real bull moose! Smells just like a bull moose only a lot smaller. Talk to yah later. T rip

Houdy-y'all. Came back from the trip a couple of days early. It was raning in OK and it was raining in TX. So we decided we could be rained on at home. Lots of rain in TX while we were gone, 9". Having the boat winterized and I did the Airstream last weekend. Will leave toys put up until mid January. Understand Steph and John are moving to a house--wonder who will shouvel snow and mow the yard--- :-). Understand Wease is going to be their party booking agent. Wease is having company this weekend---wonder how how he will slip away to do his deals??? Went to Mavricks/Golden State BBall game Monday night---what a hardbody viewing experience. I have been taking cold showers for two days. Going to hear a 60's surf band at 9:30 Sat night ---- will have to take a nap that afternoon.
Ok, Weasey, Perky is back. I know it's been a long time since I posted. Hi Tom T. and Burt. Where the hell are you , Burt? Well, it was a good trip down in Florida. The weather was awesome. Usually around 85 degrees. Also, very humid. Golf, was ok. John play marginal the first day, played bad the second. He played not bad on the 3rd day and finally go under part the last day. He shot 77, 79, 75 and 71. He moved up a lot with his 71. He still made a chunk of money since some was guaranteed. Our accomodations were awesome, also. We had a two bedroom condo that was right at the Reserve. It couldn't get any better than that. Jim, John's brother, came and stayed overnight a couple nights to watch the golf. After golf was over, we spend a few nights in Orlando visiting the family. Our niece, Carrington is growing. She's an awesome little girl. She looks just like Jim's baby pictures. As always, when the Shawver boys get together, and with my social background, we had to partake in a few adult beverages. I'm sure you all can imagine. Jim's wife, on the other hand, did not. Well, Weasey is right. John and I will be moving this weekend. We will be moving to his sister's house. It will be quite the change from living at the Club. Yes, Weasey, the big Halloween party was a couple weeks ago. I wish I wouldn't have missed it, but golf was fun. I guess I was asked about, Imagine that! It's Wednesday, and Perky doesn't know if she'll be working her favorite night. I worked last night, but Baron didn't know I'd be back, so he scheduled someone else. What a bummer! Tom we miss you. I feel for ya. I know what it's like to have to move. I hope you can come over and visit. Also, I wanted to tell all that Weasey graced John and I with his presence over the weekend. I enjoyed your company, Brian. I think you had an enjoyable day. It's been a long time since I've been to the Club on Thursday. I fear that our little group is breaking up for the winter. It was fun while it lasted. Last year, there was more of an attempt to keep it together. You never know, things may change. Burt, I'm sure your vacation was fun as always. Finally, Weasey, Burt and Perky(I) have been able to instant message. I love doing that. I know my birthday has been over for a long time, but I still have one more celebrationg. It will be in a week. My mom and my annual dinner will take place in Waterloo. It should be fun. Also, when John and I were on our way to Florida we had our anniversary, Oct. 21st. Unfortunately, we were on the road and we stayed in a fleebag motel. I guess that's the way it goes sometimes. Well, I think I'm all out of info. Brian, I expect to see more pictures of your grandson. I knew it would be a great thing for you. Well, until later, blogger friends, Perky is saying goodbye
